Loove the slide.

Lack of surf has meant any poor souls reading my blog (bless you) have seen very little surf related posts but more of my fumbling around with my trusty Hasselblad.
I've taken the flat spell as an opportunity to test different film out and I'm afraid I have expensive taste.
Old skool to the core, its all about slide and Velvia is my new love.

Expired Kodachrome (1986)

A bit dodgy but considering the film was 24 years old (1986), I was just stoked to see colour on the negs.
If anyone has more expired film i'd suggest leaving it for another few years!

Carve Advert

Kindly designed by the boys at Carve for this months issue. Brings back memories of years yonder.

Mousehole.

Two weeks of working with the old man in Mousehole.
This quaint little village once quoted by Dylan Thomas as "the most beautiful village in England"
Well, when the sun shines and the seagulls squark you couldn't ask for more.
Oh, and the smell of pasties...heaven!

Lands End became, or at least felt, like the centre of the celebrity world last week when the Sports Relief "£1 Million Bike Ride" from John'O' Groats to Lands Ended came to an End on a beautiful crisp spring afternoon.
Fearne Cotton, Davina McCall, David Walliams, Patrick Kieltey, Russell Howard and comedian Miranda completed the four day cycle raising over One million pounds for the Comic relief fund.
I happened to be there and managed a few shots before they soaked their muscles in a warm bath and made their way back to London.
