This week saw the opening of the Uk's first permanent 'Flowrider'.
Retallack Resort based near Newquay launched in front of some of the UK's biggest names in surfing, and Hugo, Pete and myself! the most exciting static wave to bless British shores.
Jason Keyter, director of Retallack, shared plans to create another Flowrider within the next 12 months and phase three of their plans is to create the Uk's first artificial wave that could break for 100 meters.
Excited businessmen, surfers and journalists took todays opportunity to question the resort director on the possible effects this could have on the UK's surf industry. for more details
